Who we are

Hey there! I’m Skyler, the voice behind The Pirate Pulse, and this whole thing started with one big passion ECU sports. Growing up in the heart of Pirate Nation, I’ve always been the guy who’d stay up late dissecting games, predicting the next big plays, and talking Pirate football, basketball, and baseball with anyone who would listen. After years of doing that with friends and family, I figured, why not take it to the next level?

So, I launched The Pirate Pulse to bring that same energy to the whole ECU fan base. I’m running podcasts, writing articles, and digging into everything ECU from game recaps and player interviews to those little behind-the-scenes stories that fans love but don’t always hear about.

It’s just me for now, but I’ve always believed that real passion and dedication stand out more than a big team or fancy equipment. And I know what it means to be a Pirate fan because I am one, through and through. There’s something special about being part of this community, and my goal is to connect with every die-hard Pirate out there.

This is just the beginning for The Pirate Pulse, but it already feels like home. And who knows? Maybe one day, I’ll be up in the booth or on the sidelines, covering ECU sports for everyone to hear. For now, though, I’m just here to bring you the best content I can.
